Our 3-week board & train program is designed for dogs ready to move beyond basic training and into off-leash reliability using the e-collar, with added focus on neutrality around dogs, confidence in public, and real-world manners. This program builds advanced obedience with moderate distractions, increased distance, and reliable duration in a variety of environments, including rural spaces and your own backyard.

It’s also appropriate for dogs with light behavioral issues, such as mild dog or human reactivity, or moderate anxiety. These dogs will receive more customized behavior-focused work rather than off-leash training.

During this program, your dog will learn:

• Loose Leash Walking
  Calm, structured walking around moderate distractions such as people, dogs, and new environments.

• Recall (Come When Called)
  Reliable off-leash recall in secure rural areas and large yards, with moderate levels of distraction and distance.

• Sit, Down, & Place Commands
  Reinforced with increasing distraction, distance, and duration for consistent responses anywhere.

• Heeling
  Structured walking at your side in public places with moderate distractions.

• Manners Training
  Addressing everyday issues like jumping, nipping, counter surfing, and doorway behavior.

• Public Outings & Neutrality Work
  Exposure to public spaces with a focus on calm behavior and emotional neutrality around other dogs and people—helping your dog learn how to stay relaxed, not just obedient.

• Socialization & Group Work
  Dogs without behavioral issues will practice obedience around other dogs and, when appropriate, may participate in supervised playgroups for healthy socialization.
  Dogs with behavioral concerns (mild reactivity or anxiety) will focus more on building confidence and behavioral improvement, rather than being pushed into play or advanced off-leash work.

Stay Connected with Daily Updates

We provide daily updates during your dog’s stay to keep you connected and confident in their progress. Depending on the day, you’ll receive a text, photo, video, or a combination—highlighting your dog’s milestones, playtime, public outings, and improvements in focus and behavior.

This program is not suitable for dogs with severe reactivity, aggression, or high anxiety. We’re happy to discuss your dog’s needs and confirm if this program is a good fit before booking.
